I did my Senior Residency ( Specialist Registrar) fellowship from SPORTS INJURY CENTRE (INSTITUTE OF JOINT REPLACEMENT & ARTHROSCOPY) SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL, NEW DELHI. It is a government regional tertiary care center. I learnt advance skills in management of primary and revision joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injury. Training involved supervised management of sports injury in elective and emergency cases. I received training under guidance of DR. DEEPAK CHAUDHARY DIRECTOR SPORTS INJURY CENTRE SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL NEW DELHI in as follows:

  • « Hip joint replacement (Charnley’s and Bimodular Hip replacement, constrained tripolar).
  • « Knee joint replacement (fixed and rotating platform knee replacement, revision knee replacement).
  • « Hemiarthroplasty hip joint using Austin Moore prosthesis, Thompson’s prosthesis and bipolar prosthesis.
  • « Shoulder arthroscopy ( bankart repair, rotator cuff repair, ac joint, adhesive capsulitis, biceps tenditis).

I learnt advance skills in management of Spine procedures like laminectomy and discectomy, posterior instrumentation, anterolateral decompression surgeries in tuberculosis spine, minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic spine surgeries, pedicle screw fixation, scoliosis correction.

    I did my post-graduation M.S. Orthopedics (Gold Medalist) from Central Institute of Orthopaedics, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. It is a government regional tertiary care center. I learnt basic skills in management of trauma and cold orthopedic cases (congenital, degenerative, infection, etc.). Training involved supervised management of trauma in elective and emergency cases.
